This set-up guide helps you to integrate Wonderchat natively with Freshdesk. Upon integration, all escalated tickets from Wondechat would appear as a ticket within Freshdesk, allowing for all your human support tickets to be gathered in one location.


Integrating Freshdesk and Wonderchat

For you to integrate freshdesk with Wonderchat, you would first need to fetch your API keys from Freshdesk to enter it into Wonderchat.

Here's how you can get your API key:

  1. Log in to your Freshdesk account.

  2. Click on your profile picture on the top right and select 'Profile Settings.'

  3. In the sidebar on the right, you will find the View API key button. To access the API key, click on it and complete the captcha verification.

  4. Copy-paste this as required to authenticate your Freshdesk integration in Wonderchat.

Integrating Freshdesk and Wonderchat

After you’ve fetched your API keys from Freshdesk, navigate to the “Settings” section in Wonderchat and click on the “Integrations” tab.

Copy and paste the API keys into the Freshdesk section and click on “Connect”

  • Freskdesk domain: Enter the URL of your freshdesk domain

  • Freskdesk API keys: Enter the API keys retrieved from your Freshdesk user profile

After connecting, navigate to the homepage to see the Freshdesk logo being lighted up.

Click on the logo and turn on “automatic ticket creation”
