  • Step 3: In your downloaded CSV file, enter your corrections accordingly into the various fields.
  • Step 4: Upload the corrections file by following these guidelines:
  • Step 5: Confirm the upload and let Wonderchat process the corrections.
  • Step 6: Once the process is complete, imported corrections will appear under 'Approved' tab.
  • Marking Pending Corrections as Ignored

Export and Import Corrections

Learn how to use the Export and Import Correction features in Wonderchat to manage your chatbot corrections efficiently.

The Export and Import Correction features in Wonderchat allow users to streamline their workflow by managing chatbot corrections in bulk. These tools are particularly useful for teams handling large volumes of corrections or transferring data between environments.


Exporting Corrections

Exporting corrections enables you to download corrections data for analysis or record-keeping. You can export either Approved Corrections or Pending Corrections, depending on your needs. Here's how to export corrections:

Step 1: Go to the 'Corrections' tab in the Wonderchat dashboard.

Step 2: Click the Actions button in the top-right corner.

Step 3: Select the desired export option:

  • Export Approved Corrections: Downloads corrections that have been reviewed and approved.

Step 4: A file (in .CSV format) will be generated for download. Save it to your computer for further use.


Importing Corrections

Importing corrections allows you to upload a corrections file (e.g., a CSV template) into Wonderchat to update or add corrections in bulk. This feature is useful for synchronizing corrections across teams or restoring data. Here's how to import corrections:

Step 1: Click on the 'Actions' button in the Corrections tab.

Step 2: Select the Import Corrections option.

Step 3: In your downloaded CSV file, enter your corrections accordingly into the various fields.

To ensure that corrections are imported correctly, the file should include valid correction data:

  • Answers: Required

  • SourceURL: Optional

  • Tags: Optional

Step 4: Upload the corrections file by following these guidelines:

Only .CSV format files are accepted.

  • Ensure the file matches the required template format (.CSV files)

  • Optional: You can download a template from the Download Template option in the Actions menu.

Step 5: Confirm the upload and let Wonderchat process the corrections.

Step 6: Once the process is complete, imported corrections will appear under 'Approved' tab.


Marking Pending Corrections as Ignored

If you have a list of corrections that you no longer wish to review or act upon, you can use the Mark All Pending Corrections as Ignored option to quickly organize your corrections list.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Corrections tab.

  2. Click the Actions button.

  3. Select Mark All Pending Corrections as Ignored.

  4. All pending corrections will now be moved to the Ignored section.


Additional Notes

  • To prevent errors during the import process, always use the provided template.

  • Ensure that the file must include valid correction data to be processed.
